Jordan Shankman brings a cinematic sensibility to his landscape photography. This set moves through Glacier National Park's iconic locations, along the 14 mile hike up to Triple Divide Pass. The images use natural light to emphasize texture in the rock faces and shifts in atmospheric conditions, from haze cutting through valleys to clear skies over snowmelt. Frames are composed with foreground interest—wildflowers, rocky terrain, tree lines—to create depth. His approach is straightforward: wide views that document scale and terrain. Shankman's landscape work has been recognized by Kodak, Hasselblad and Ilford Photo.
