Nicolas Escoubeyrou (@loeil_du_chat) is a black and white enthusiast. His Leica M2 and Hasselblad XPan frames from Scotland and Costa Rica all hinge on how water reflects light, divides land or sits still enough to mirror sky. The XPan's stretched format exaggerates this dependency, turning coastlines and lochs into studies of horizontal repetition. Kentmere film renders all of it with the same blunt grain structure, collapsing tropical beaches and highland mist into a unified tonal vocabulary. Geography changes but there is persistence in visual logic.
