Quentin Carlier (@carlier_quentin) photographs Paris without forcing romance onto scenes that already contain it. Couples kiss by the river, hold hands while cycling down empty boulevards, sit with drinks watching boats as they pass. This is everyday life in La Ville-Lumière. His work splits between black and white grain and muted color, both approaches treating the city like a place people live rather than a fantasy to capture. Carlier finds his frames in the periphery, shooting from behind crowds or catching subjects unaware; he keeps his work grounded in observation instead of performance.
