Yulia Adamova (@yuliia_adamova) works with medium format film to document Russia's remote northern landscapes, from the Kola Peninsula to the Arctic Circle. The Lomo Lubitel 166+, a recreation of the classic Russian twin-lens camera, renders these environments with characteristic soft focus and vignetting that emphasizes the region's isolation. Her photography spans multiple seasons across tundra, alpine lakes and coastal terrain where the extreme climate alternates between endless summer light and winter darkness. The work moves through glacial lakes nestled between snow-covered peaks, cottongrass fields stretching beneath mountains and weathered infrastructure left from Soviet-era expansion.

Shot on Lubitel 166+ with Lomography Color Negative 400, Kodak Portra 400 and Ilford HP5 Plus.
